An outside view of the companyBy Thomas Hewlett

NZ based music retailer Four stores Nation-wide Managed by Chris Hart

Threat of music downloads Recent explosion of music downloads

takes away a huge amount of Real Groovy Customers.

I just bought the new

Chris Brown CD today!

Its Awesome

Why would you pay for the

whole CD when you could just download his best songs

through Itunes?

With programs like Itunes and LimeWire, music is easily obtained from sitting at home on the computer.

Competition Because music is so popular, Real

Groovy has a large amount of competition for selling physical music

Oh, By the way Andrew I

bought the Brittany Spears CD from Real

Groovy yesterday for

only $29!You got ripped off mate, I saw

it at The Warehouse

today for only $23...

With many retailers selling music. Competition comes down to what you can provide that your competitors cant.

Retailers include The Warehouse and JB-HiFi

Hey Richard I want to get some old

Bette Middler vinals for my collection but

cant find them anywhere!

Have you tried Real Groovy?

They have a huge range of second

hand music.

One way Real Groovy competes is by having a very extensive range of products.

To keep this high range of music the company holds all the new titles and also a large range of second hand music and DVD’s.

One significant threat to the company is technology changing the modern world, rather than letting the technology overrun them, they chose to embrace this technology to make their business a more successful one.

Hey bro have you seen Real

Groovy’s new website? Its

pretty extensive!

Nah I haven't, but anyways back to

last night... Do you really think

Christine has a thing for me?

With the release of Real Groovy’s new website it increased online sales by 69% on the previous year

The website has allowed them to reach a greater audience.

If your house is burgled and all your music is stolen, Real Groovy is the place to go for all your music insurance claims.

Hey dude my house was

robbed the other day and Real

Groovy was able to replace my

whole collection!

That’s amazing Larry, even your old stuff from the

70’s?

To increase their competition Real Groovy targets Niche markets such as handling insurance claims and selling concert tickets for local New Zealand bands.
