• Understand your campuso What works well? What doesn’t?
• Know your group’s identityo What does your club stand for? What is
your mission on campus?
• Set clear goalso What types of events will help your
recruitment efforts?

TALKING TO A POTENTIAL RECRUIT
1. Gather facts about the potential member
2. What experiences do they want to gain from campus?
3. How can they gain that experience?
4. Demonstrate that your group can meet their needs
SEALING THE DEAL
• Tell your own story how your group met your needso Adjust your story for the situation
RETAINING YOUR RECRUITS
