Dear Parents
Another term has, quite simply,
flown by and I am delighted to
present to you a summary of
the achievements of the pupils
during the Spring Term. Not
everything can be included
- it would possibly rival War
& Peace for length - but it
certainly gives you a flavour of
the Red House we so love.
There is a real buzz about the school at the moment as we
plan for our future in Norton. We cannot achieve everything
immediately but, rest assured, we're constantly thinking about
how we improve our provision for the benefit of the children.
We continue to refresh our facilities, our uniform and our
curriculum but we do so with a nod to the past and an eye on
the future. I fully intend Red House to be the school of choice in
this area with a reputation for excellence in all areas of school
life. This newsletter will demonstrate that we're pretty close
already!
With best wishes
A Welcome from the Headmaster
Getting Social on Social MediaWe are glad so many of our parents, along with their families and
friends, continue to use social media to interact with the school.
We find Facebook and Twitter are great ways to let you see what the
children are getting up to once they come through the doors at Red
House! If you still haven’t connected with us here are the details…

We are a Microsoft School
We are proud Red House is one of only
three schools in the UK whose pupils have
been chosen for the Talented Athlete
Sponsorship Scheme (TASS) in partnership
with Teesside University. The athletes that
have been selected have been identified as
showing potential in Olympic sports.
Over the next year, 10 pupils from Years
8 to 11, who are eligible to represent
England and perform at the top of the
Sport England Talent Pathway, will attend
six workshops at the University, focusing
on lifestyle, practical nutrition, maintaining
a healthy body, goal setting and mental
preparation, athlete development and
strengthening and conditioning.
Speaking about the scheme, Joshua Scott
who plays for Hartlepool United Academy
and has played for the ISA National Football
Team, as well as participating in swimming,
athletics and cross country, said: “I’m really
grateful to have been chosen to receive
this opportunity and the support which will
come from being on the TASS.
“It can be daunting at times trying to
manage my education while competing at
a high level in football, so it’s great to know
with the right support and advice, there’s
the possibility I can be successful in both.”
Dr Jennifer Howse, leading the Scheme for

lessons to ensure we have innovative
learning environments. Our aim is to
become a Microsoft Showcase School
where we will lead the way by using
technology to engage pupils and to
continually enhance our teaching.
We are delighted that we are now a
Microsoft School. Microsoft launched
a programme to develop a global
community of schools engaged in digital
transformation to improve learning
outcomes. We are committed to the
continued integration of technology into
a support structure for gifted athletes to
help them pursue a dual career pathway
and throughout this year, will continue
to work with the school to monitor and
evaluate progress.”
Mr James added, "We are delighted the
talents of our pupils has been recognised
on a national level and believe they will
benefit greatly from the additional support
they will receive from being on the TASS.
As a school, we endeavour to do our
utmost to help and encourage our pupils
in all aspects of their education, so as to
provide them with as many opportunities
as possible for the future.”

Investment in Facilities Our refurbishment programme continues to gather momentum with the
latest investment being retractable seating in the dinning room. This has
transformed our performance space and provided much needed comfort
for the audience! The library has also received a full makeover, creating a
more tranquil and spacious learning environment for the children.
You may have already seen the all-weather sports pitch, which the children
are benefiting from. The cloakrooms have also received an upgrade and
shortly our attention will be on improving the pupil entrance.
Watch this space as there are lots of exciting improvements taking place!
Musical Talents The results from the music exams taken during the spring
term proved how talented our musicians at Red House School
are. We are also eagerly awaiting the school production of
Oliver! where we will see their talents in action.

awarded runners up. Harriet Steel went on to be successful at
the next stage of the competition and won the 'Best Speaker'
award again!
The Red House Has Got Talent competition
was a terrific way to end the spring term.
The pupils put on a very entertaining show
which showcased a wide variety of talents.
Performances included singing, dancing
and playing the guitar, flute, saxophone
piano and even a cup! The show ended
with the Year 11 medley which got the
crowd cheering and singing along. There
were many highlights throughout the show
and the judges had the very tough task of

Bringing Learning to Life
Spring Term Concerts and Services It was lovely to see parents and family
members coming together to watch the
variety of performances given by the
children. These included the Valentines
assembly, the spring music concert,
Mother’s Day service and the Easter
service at St Mary’s Church.
Sharing Spectacular Science Year 6 and the Nursery children came
together for a special science lesson. Mrs
Spencer-Crabb started the session with
a spectacular science show and then the
older pupils took the lead. Year 6 worked
very hard planning their activities, which
included investigating exploding pots,
magic balloons and disappearing eggs!
The nursery children were very impressed!
Virtual Reality Children from Years 1 - 5 had lots of fun in their Google expedition
session. They were taken on a virtual journey to explore a range of
different places which included space, under the sea, the jungle,
Antarctica and the Jurassic times!
Assemblies Pupil led assemblies are a great way for the children to share knowledge
and increase confidence by performing in front of their peers. They are
always very informative and entertaining! This term's topics ranged from
‘The History of Swimming’, ‘Ancient Egypt’, ‘Success in Failure’, ‘Worries’,
‘Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday’, ‘Forgiveness’ and ‘The Solar System’.
Jewish ReligionMrs Kitson came into school to talk to the children in Year 2 about
the Jewish religion. They looked closely at what the different foods
represent on the Seder plate and they had lots of fun tasting
different foods for the first time.

Bone Doctor Mr Jeavons and his colleague talked to Year
4 about being an orthopaedic surgeon.
Children demonstrated their knowledge
of the human skeleton, whilst learning
the names of different bones in the body.
They then practised their surgical skills by
inserting plates and screws on pretend
bones, or by placing a plaster cast around
their forearms.
Durham University Science Workshop Pupils in Years 3 and 4 enjoyed a science workshop led by staff and students from Durham
University. They looked at the human digestive process, the different types of teeth and the
importance of a balanced meal.
Teddy Bear Hospital Reception children took part in a teddy bear hospital
workshop with medical students from Durham University.
They learnt about injections, medicines, x-rays and the heart.
They brought their own teddies from home so they could put
their knowledge into practice.
Team Northumbria Kati and Leah from Team Northumbria led
an energetic netball coaching session for
Years 5 and 6. The children were certainly
inspired by their visit and they loved
getting their autographs!
Martial Arts Holly Sterling, Karate instructor at the
Nursery & Infant School gave children
from Reception to Year 3 a taster session
in martial arts. Holly is National champion
and a World bronze medallist!

Wizarding World of Harry Potter The Nursery & Infant School was given temporary
magical status which saw the school transform into the
wizarding world of Harry Potter.
Children from Reception to Year 3 were placed into
‘Houses’ and in their Hogwarts uniform they rotated
around the school taking part in magical lessons. The
children loved all the different activities which included
Astronomy, Divination, Potions, Charms, Herbology,
Muggle Studies and Care of Magical Creatures!
The Nursery children also had lots of fun in their wizard
school where they made their first wands.
To celebrate their achievements the children were
awarded a certificate from Hogwarts!
What Does Reading Mean to You? Form 6W gave a brilliant assembly all about World
Book Day. They looked at the stories people would
remember in 20 years time and gave some excellent
performances to celebrate the wonders of reading!
World B k Day
Lovely Latkes Form 5C enjoyed making latkes in their
Religious Studies lesson. Latkes are potato
cakes that are eaten during the Jewish
celebration of Hanukkah. Some children
thought they were delicious, but others
were not so keen!
Unreliable Narrators Year 8 pupils enjoyed performing some
drama in their English lessons. As part of
their study of 'unreliable narrators' they
read Edgar Allan Poe's ‘The Tell-Tale Heart’,
Robert Browning's poem ‘Porphyria's
Lover’ and they dramatized Browning's
poem with rather ghoulish pleasure!
Guide Dogs for the Blind Val, representing Guide Dogs for the Blind, came into school to inform Year 6 pupils about
the charity. She explained how valuable Whispa, her guide dog, is to her and how guide
dogs help to transform the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
Super Sewing In textiles the Year 7 boys learnt how
to use a sewing machine. Their sewing
skills were excellent, so as Mother’s
Day was not far away, they were then
introduced to the wonders of an iron!

Trips & Tours French TripBy Kathryn Woolfall and Sadie Roberts
We travelled to Portsmouth at 11pm, Friday 31st March. Although we were excited you wouldn’t be able to tell because of the lack of noise on the bus, as we were all asleep! As we arrived at Portsmouth to board the ferry everyone began to wake up. The ferry was huge, providing so many activities for us to do; there was even a cinema! After the ferry we got back on the bus and travelled to the hotel; we were all ready for an early night.
We woke early the next day full of
excitement for we were heading to the
theme park, Futuroscope. We quickly set
off to explore, there were so many rides,
and we especially loved the dancing robot
ride so we went on it twice!
The day flew by and before we knew it we
were purchasing light up merchandise
and sitting down to watch the evening
show. We put our French skills to the test
as we tried to work out what the show was
about. The lovely fireworks and amazing
effects made our day even better (if that’s
possible!). We headed back to the hotel
once the show had finished. We went
straight to bed as we knew it would be
another early morning.
The next day, after a delicious breakfast
of crêpes, we headed out for a trip to the
beautiful Montresor castle. We walked
to a park nearby and took lots of photos.
We sat and admired the castle before
heading back to the coach for a journey to
Chenonceau Castle.
After a short time on the bus we were
surprised to see just how alluring and
attractive the castle was. After a brief
trip in the castle we learnt a lot about its
fascinating history. Does the name Diane
de Poitiers sound familiar? She played a
big part in the life of King Henry II as she
was his mistress. King Henry II gave the
castle to her as a gift along with a beautiful
garden on top of the River Cher. His wife,
Catherine de’ Medici, also had her own
garden here. We were then left to explore
by ourselves; some found their way to the
maze and others to the ice-cream shop!
We headed back for yet another lovely
dinner at the hotel and some even braved
the escargot! Then we had a quick game of
football and headed to bed.
The next morning was yet, as you’ve
probably guessed it, another early start!
Today we were heading for a tour of Chateau
d’Amboise. We took a tour through the
castle and its past and we were surprised to
learn that figures such as Leonardo da Vinci
had lived there. We were given a once in a
lifetime opportunity to even visit his grave.
We were also lucky enough to travel back
in time to meet up with some members of
the court. This day was topped off with a
trip to the chocolatier where we learnt how
chocolate was made and the best bit was
sampling all the varieties! We also got a
chance to spend our euros on edible gifts
which I’d be surprised if they ever got to
the intended receiver! We headed to the
shops to buy some lunch. We quickly found
out that everyone had the same idea. We
travelled to the most authentic French food
place ever – a pizza takeaway!
We then headed back on the bus and
travelled to the hotel for our final night.
The next morning we ate breakfast and
went straight to the bus to begin our
journey home. As we boarded the ferry we
were told the journey would be shorter.
This gave us less time to do things on the
ferry so we spent our time browsing round
the shops.
As we got back onto the bus we made the
decision to watch Titanic. It turned out this
was a bad idea because we all got quite
emotional (including Mr James!).
We arrived home happy to see our parents
with lots of fun memories of the trip. We’d
like to thank Mrs Gaunt, Mrs Blyth, Mrs
Spencer-Crabb and Mr James for spending
time in their Easter holidays making sure
we had an amazing time.

Fire Fighters Nursery children spent the
morning being Fire Fighters at
Stockton Fire Station. They had lots
of fun exploring the fire engines,
Bravo 1 and Bravo 3, and they even
got to use a real fire hose!
Dinosaur Discovery Reception visited the Hancock Museum in
Newcastle to learn more about dinosaurs.
They thoroughly enjoyed a workshop
where they became paleontologists! They
even braved coming face-to-face with a life
size T-Rex skeleton!
Travelling Back in Time Year 1 had a terrific time at the National Railway Museum in York. They went back in time
to explore what it was like to live and travel over 100 years ago. They discovered the history
and science behind the famous 'Rocket' locomotive.
Electrifying Children in Year 4 enjoyed a fabulous trip to The Life Centre in
Newcastle, which linked brilliantly with their current science topic;
Electricity. They enjoyed taking part in a workshop on
insulators and conductors as well as visiting a wide range of
exhibits. These included Brain Zone, Theatre Show, Curiosity
Zone, Planetarium, a 4D Motion Ride, Lego Brick History and not
forgetting the gift shop!
Victorian Times Year 5 visited Beamish as part of their history topic on the Victorian
period. The children enjoyed being detectives where they had to
work out what had happened to James White, a 12 year old boy who
worked in the mines. They also had fun visiting the sweet shop and
then the Victorian dentist!
Poetry Live! To support their study of literature poetry, Year 10 attended
the Poetry Live conference in Leeds. They listened to
invaluable exam advice from chief examiner Peter Buckroyd
and a number of poets including Gillian Clark, Carol Ann Duffy,
Daljit Nagra, Simon Armitage, Imtiaz Dharker, Owen Sheers
and John Agard who read out a selection of their own poems.

Eggcellent Decorating The annual egg decorating
competition is always a treat and this
year’s entries were truly eggcellent
and that’s no yolk! Well done to
everyone who took part.
Easter Bunny Children in Nursery and Reception had a
surprise visit from the Easter Bunny who
had been busy hiding lots of eggs in the
garden for them to find!
The members of the PTA have been extremely busy during the spring term. Events and activities have included the Fashion Show and a whole range of Easter treats. All the money raised goes towards purchasing items that benefit our pupils, as well as creating brilliant social events for family and friends to attend. Thank you for your hard work!

Synagogue TripBy Sadie RobertsIn the spring term Year 8 visited the Orthodox synagogue in Newcastle. When we arrived we were shown around the kosher kitchen and Mrs Van der Veldt explained how Jewish homes have separate areas in the kitchen for meat and dairy.
We then went into the entrance
hallway where we were shown a book
that held all the names of relatives of
the members of the synagogue who
had died during the Holocaust. I was
surprised to see just how many people
had lost someone.
In the main assembly hall Louis was
given the job of opening the ark. Some
of the scrolls are over 300 years old and
others were rescued from synagogues
destroyed during World War Two. We
learnt that the tradition of keeping the
scrolls in the ark came from Moses who
built the first Ark to hold the tablets
containing the 10 Commandments.
We learnt a lot about Jewish beliefs
and practices and also heard about the
impact the Holocaust or Shoah had on
the Jewish community in Europe.

Over £1,500 was raised during the spring term. Well done to everyone who supported the events. Some of the highlights were...
Red Nose Day Children and staff fully embraced
Red Nose Day by dressing in red
and wearing red noses. There were
lots of fun activities that took place
throughout the day such as face
painting, cake sales and children
telling old jokes and singing 'silly'
songs! The teachers at the Nursery
& Infant School gave a brilliant
performance at the end of the
school day.
Dodgeball Competition was high in the Prep & Senior
School as pupils took part in a dodgeball
tournament. The event was organised by
the School Charity Committee to help raise
funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Well done to the winning teams and to Will
for his wonder goal! A big thank you to Lucy
and Charlie in Year 11 for running
the event.
Fairtrade Children at the Nursery & Infant School
learnt about Fairtrade and its importance.
The Pupil Council held a Fairtrade tuck shop
so pupils could sample the tasty treats,
whilst raising money for a worthy cause.
Fashion Show Pupils swapped their uniforms for their
own masterpieces, as they took to the
catwalk for the school’s fashion show
extravaganza.
In the run up to the big day, children had
been busy designing an item of clothing
to suit their allocated theme. This year’s
catwalk categories ranged from 70s
costumes to Viking and Egyptian themes,
gargoyles and even fire!
Friends and families gathered in the Prep &
Senior School sports hall, which had been
transformed into a fashion arena for the
day, to watch the children strut their stuff!
“For Year 11 pupil, Eleanor Wright, the
fashion show was a real highlight:
I always loved the fashion show, but now I’m doing my GCSEs, it was really nice to be able to showcase my own designs. Art and design-based GCSEs aren’t subjects you can just pass with exams; they need constant work throughout the year. The fashion show was great because we had worked hard for so long and we finally got a chance to show off what we had made. I felt very proud to see my GCSE work on the catwalk.
”Readathon Pupils in KS2 and KS3 took part in a
readathon to help raise money to buy
books for children in hospital.

CricketThis was history in the making as our
U13 girls made their debut at a County
Cricket final. They were top of their
group in the first round, playing schools
such as Staindrop, St. Thomas More and
Durham Johnston. In the semi-final against
Sedgefield, with the help of some very tight
fielding, Red House only needed 45 runs
when they went into bat – they won the
semi-final quite comfortably.
In the final they faced an experienced
North Durham Academy. Our girls had to
reach 110 runs to win and unfortunately
only reached 75 all out.
Congratulations to the girls for gaining silver
medals and we look forward to developing
more cricket opportunities in the future.
girls played very well and finished in second
position. The team was congratulated by
International Umpire Gary Burgess who was
particularly impressed by the attitude and
determination of Seren Williams, who was
announced as one of Red House Players of
the Week. The other Player of the Week was
Jess Hall who showed excellent versatility
as C/GA/GD during the tournament and
was presented with her award by Emily
Hollingworth, England U21 International.
Well done to the team; second place is an
excellent achievement and they should
be proud of the way they represented
themselves throughout the tour.

Netball The U12 A girls played in the Stockton
District Tournament this year and were
runners up, losing very narrowly in the
finals. They had a tough round of league
games but managed to make it to the
league finals, where they were crowned
Stockton U12 Premiership league winners!
The U12 B girls have not lost a game
this season! They played in the district
where they made it to the finals and won,
becoming Stockton district winners. They
also made it to the league finals where they
were crowned U12 Championship league
winners; a double victory for this team!
The U13 A girls played in the district netball
tournament and came across some tough
competition against Yarm and Teesside
High but deservingly took home the
winning title! They also played in the league
and made it to the finals where they beat
Eggelscliffe to be crowned U13 Premiership
Sports Round Upleague winners. This means the girls have
received this title two years running!
The U13 B played in the Stockton district
tournament where they lost narrowly in the
final and were awarded runners up. The
girls played really well in the league games
and achieved the Stockton championship
runners up title.
PGL Netball Tour
Fourteen girls travelled to Shropshire to
play in the PGL netball tournament. Whilst
on their tour they took part in outdoor
activities such as giant swing, abseiling,
rock climbing and trapeze.
We had two teams, which were a mixture
of Year 7 and 8 pupils. They performed
brilliantly throughout the tournament
playing some tough games against Wardle
Academy, St George's Academy and
Strouport High School amongst others.
Both teams received their third place medals
which was an amazing achievement.
ISA National Championships
The U16s travelled to Worcester to take part
in the ISA National Championships. The
team did a fantastic job reaching the quarter
finals unbeaten. They achieved a great win
against St Joseph’s, 12-4, to make the semi-
final against a highly rated Hull Collegiate.
Although this opposition had strength the
girls never gave up and made it to the finals
by one goal. Unfortunately the team lost the
final match but the girls should be extremely
proud of their achievement of coming
second in the country.
Masterclass Tour, Holland
A group of Year 8 and 9 pupils attended
the Masterclass Tour in Holland where they
took part in three skills sessions as well as
team building activities. The top three super
shots were Alice Darnton (1st), Jess Hall
(2nd) and Jenny Dolan (3rd), resulting in a
win for their team. The highlight of the week
was the Masterclass tournament where the

Football The U11s played some very exciting football
which showed great flair, particularly in
attack. They recorded excellent victories
against Abbey Gate College, Terrington
Hall, Cundall Manor and Bow School.
The B team also beat Bow School with a
convincing 3-0 victory.
The U12s played very well in their fixture to
dominate Fyling Hall in a 4-2 win.
The U13s had a somewhat inconsistent
season. They showed glimpses of real quality
but conceded too many easy goals. Victories,
however, against Terrington Hall, Aysgarth
and Durham Choristers were well deserved.
The U14s played exceptionally well in
the ISA National Football Tournament in
Nottingham. After two victories and a draw
in the group stages they went through as
group winners into the semi-finals, where
they beat St Michael’s School from London.
Unfortunately they lost out to Priory
Ethelburga's and Richmond School along
the way. Will Ashforth, Ben Cordwell-Smith
and Shay Morfitt were all key players for this
team. After his first season playing hockey
goalkeeper Freddie Wright represented the
county at the JAC tournament.
The U13s improved throughout the season
achieving good wins against Cundall Manor,
Barnard Castle and Queen Ethelburga's. In
the County Tournament they finished 4th
out of 7 teams. Key performers were Harry
Henderson, Matthew Ward, Harry Bolam
and Jack Craggs. Harry Henderson and Jack
Craggs also went on to represent County
Durham at the JAC tournament.
The U14s and U15s had a strong season
which built up to the Holland Tour over the
Easter holidays. The team played against
three local Dutch hockey sides; Nuth HC,
Tegelse HC and Sjinborne HC. The first
game was the toughest against Nuth HC
which resulted in a 4-0 loss. In the second
game, against Tegelse HC, the boys were
given extra help from Molly McDermott and
Iyrah Swati. We dominated possession and
had all of the chances but couldn’t find the
back of the net; the game finished 0-0. The
final game was against Sjinborne HC and
we saved our best performance untill last
winning 4-0. Harry Henderson deserves a
special mention as he was chosen by the
Masterclass coach as the Player of the Tour.
Also a special thank you to TBI Law firm
and Hellens Sport for sponsoring the tour
playing kits, tracksuits and holdalls.
The U16s had a positive season and even
managed to push Yarm and Egglescliffe
close at the County Indoor Tournament.
This team was driven by some very talented
players in Sam Korsen and Brandon Cheung,
but every member of the team played their
part in some very good performances.
School, Birmingham, in the final. This,
however, was a fantastic achievement and
one the boys should be proud of.
The U15s have combined with the U14s
for fixtures this term and recorded
comfortable victories against Teesside
High School and Fyling Hall.
Congratulations to Matthew Ward who was
selected for the ISA football squad and to
Josh Scott and James Foster who are both in
Hartlepool United’s Youth Academy. James
was also selected to play for Cleveland FA.
In the House football competitions Castle
triumphed at the U11 age group with
Ragworth second and Whorlton in third place.
In the U13 competition Ragworth were the
winners with Whorlton second and Castle
in third.
HockeyThe U11s had an excellent first season. Due
to commitment from Years 5 and 6 we were
able to get A and B teams to play against
Teesside High, Cundall Manor and a club
side from Stockton Hockey Club. All of the
games were close and we played some
excellent hockey all season. Myles Brown
and Bede Knox, as key players, showed
their experience from last year and new
talent was uncovered which included Josh
Riley, James Witham and the two goal
keepers Sasha Heer and Mohammad Syed.
There were also new players from Years 4
and 5 with Luke Gaughan, Eddie Carter and
Joe Eason playing their first hockey fixtures.
It was the first season of hockey for a lot
of the U12 boys. They gave an excellent
performance at the County Tournament
finishing 3rd out of 7 teams. There were
also wins against Teesside High, Queen

Hockey The U13s had a fantastic season claiming
both the County League and Tournament
titles. As well as achieving third place at the
Durham Schools 7s tournament, they also
represented Cleveland County in the North
East semi-finals at Barnard Castle. Against
some very tough opposition, they gained a
very respectable third place.
The U12s remained unbeaten in the league
this season and won the title in style!
In the County Indoor Tournaments Year 7A
won the County title and both Year 8A and
Year 8B claimed silver medals.
The U11s also claimed silver in the County
Tournament and played in the North East
semi-finals at Barnard Castle.

Cross Country Red House Vs Crooksbarn
Year 4 and Year 6 won their respective
team competitions with Year 5 coming
runners up. With two out of three wins,
Red House retained the Challenge Shield!
A special mention goes to the girls who
completed a full sweep and were first home
in their respective age groups. Well done
to Harriet Rowell, Izzy Eynon and Scarlett
Tom Hearmon achieved a very respectable
23rd and both Jamie Darnton and Josh
Scott qualified for the next round. Jamie
was a very impressive 8th in the U14 race
and Joshua was 11th in the U16 race. This
was a superb effort from all runners, as
there were 60 runners in each race.
Stockton Primary Schools Championship, Preston Park
With 90 runners in each race the following
pupils did very well: Maya Dowson (12th),
John Bolam (13th), Isabelle Eynon (14th), Lexie
Edge (15th) and Sasha Heer (18th). The best
result came from George Craggs who gained
a bronze medal in his debut performance!
Red House Invitation Cross Country Championships
Invited Schools: Ampleforth, Terrington,
Teesside High, Yarm, Cundall Manor,
Durham Choristers and Queen Mary's.
The boys achieved third place overall and
we had four boys in the top 20, with Ashly
Locker (12th), Shay Morfitt (13th), Joseph
Hornsey (19th) and Harry Bolam (20th).
In the girls' race Jess Hall reclaimed her
winning trophy from last year and won the
race in fine style. The girls also won the team
trophy! The impressive grouping of Lily
Cordwell-Smith (3rd), Seren Williams (7th),
Alice Darnton (14th), Lily Patrick (16th) and
Molly McDermott (17th) – all six finishing in
the top 20 is extraordinary… the last time
Red House won this trophy was 2004!
