Phase 2 Talent Pipeline Implementation: Project goals and overview

Project Overview• Expand upon the work completed in Phase 1• Focus on four primary areas:

– Data Assistance– Financial Mapping of Employment and Training

Funding Streams– Unified Business Engagement Framework – Operationalizing Sector Strategies and Career

Pathways in SC Works Centers

Data Assistance• Reconvene state-level Data Team• Support the formation of Regional Data

Teams• Conduct supply/demand gap analyses for the

state and each region and train Regional Data Teams on conducting regular similar analyses

• Inventory available state and regional data resources and training tools

Financial Mapping• Map state partners’ key employment and training

funding streams and their primary uses• Aggregate funding stream information in a report

that can be used by state and regional partners to better align and braid resources and conduct resource gap/needs analyses

• Document the asset-mapping process to enable state and regional partners to customize and add to employment and training funding asset maps over time

Unified Business Engagement Framework• Develop and document a statewide unified

business engagement framework• Support regional teams in tailoring a unified

business engagement framework • Provide technical assistance to regional teams in

key need or interest areas
