“You Can’t Take It With You”- Take 2! The award winning depression era spoof “You Can’t Take It With You” will come to the LHS stage March 13-15, 2015. The story embraces two uniquely different families whose son and daughter have fallen in love. When the eccentric Sycamore family and the somewhat stuffy Kirby family

meet on a hot summer night, sparks literally fl y! This show was performed on the Luther stage in November 1970. The auspicious cast lauded the likes of Dick Bakken, Steve Berg, Doug Darelius and Paul Albrecht. This show has never lost its appeal, currently appearing on Broadway with James Earl Jones as Grandpa. Plan to attend one of the performances for an evening of hilarity and nostalgia.

The cards and candy of Valentine’s Day provide family and friends tan-gible reminders of our love. With approximately one billion cards exchanged and nearly $655 million spent on candy each Valentine’s Day, we go to great lengths and expense to defi ne and express love and friendship.

These inspired words from God’s love letter are intended for every-

one and are indeed a priceless trea-sure; “How did God show his love for us? He sent his one and only Son into the world. He sent him so we could receive life through him. What is love? It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.” 1 John 4:9-11
