VISION STATEMENT
TO CREATE AN EMPOWERED AND VIBRANT YOUTH GROUP IN A SPIRIT OF SELFLESS SERVICE TO THE CHURCH AND SOCIETY
POLICIES
• EVERY PARISH SHOULD HAVE A YOUTH GROUP• EVERY YOUNG PRIEST SHOULD ORGANISE A
YOUTH GROUP IN A PARISH / INSTITUTE• YOUTH GROUP YEARLY PLANNER SHOULD BE
SUBMITTED TO THE VICE -PROVINCIAL BY 31ST JULY EVERY YEAR.
POLICIES
• YOUTH GROUP QUARTERLY EVALUATION FORM TO BE HANDED OVER TO THE VICE – PROVINCIAL BY 30TH SEPT. 31ST JAN & 31ST MAY.
• A PYAT (PARISH YOUTH ANIMATING TEAM) – A TEAM COMPRISING OF LAY COLLABORATORS AND SISTERS.
• A COORDINATING COMMITTEE COMPRISING OF SIX YOUTH ( 3 GIRLS / 3 BOYS)
POLICIES
• BREAK FORMS SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO BE PRESENT FOR MEETINGS FOR A CONSIDERABLE DURATION OF TIME.
• AGENDA SHOULD BE PREPARED BY THE COORDINATING COMMITTEE AND DISPLAYED ON THE YOUTH NOTICE BOARD
• ATTENDANCE REGISTER WILL BE MAINTAINED.• YOUTH ACCOUNT TO BE MAINTAINED BY THE PRIEST IN-
=CHARGE OF THE YOUTH GROUP AND THE TREASURER.• THE YOUTH ACCOUNT SHOULD BE ATTACHED TO THE
PARISH/INSTITUTE ACCOUNT
LINES OF ACTION
• PROGRAMMES IN THE AREA OF SOCIAL, SPIRITUAL, CULTURAL AND PERSONAL FORMATION SHOULD BE ORGANIZED REGULARLY.
• INFORMATION TO THE YOUTH TO BE DISSEMINATED THROUGH THE YOUTH NOTICE BOARD
• REGULAR TRAINING PROGRAMMES TO BE ORGANIZED FOR THE COORDINATING COMMITTEE, PYAT AND YOUTH MEMBERS

Career guidance at the regional level. (career fair etc) Organize Youth get-togethers like Youth fest at the province level/diocese level and have a proper follow up of the same. Four day live in for youth and animators.

•Every Region REGION should have a Youth Council comprising of 2 youth and a youth lay animator and Priest animator.
•The Province Youth Council will have from all 4 regions elected 2 youth, one lay animator and a priest animator.

EVALUATIONSessions were well prepared and well develop by all the resource persons.A lot of hard work went in and it is very much appreciated by the participants.Participation was very good and lively, easy to relate with each other.Resource material very useful.Food and accommodation was very good.
