St Ives Place perfectly combines independence with reassurance: residents will enjoy their own front door and privacy, but with the comfort of knowing that care and support is available on site 24 hours a day if they need it. There is also the added security of the 24 hour fully monitored emergency call system.
For residents who may require additional help, such as personal care, we have an excellent, empathetic and professional homecare service based at St Ives House – although, of course, residents are free to make their own care arrangements if they prefer. The costs of any personal care or support are charged separately according to individual requirements. The Care South team will liaise regularly with residents and other relevant care professionals to ensure residents have sufficient support and that any changing needs are met. On occasion, residents may need nursing care and it may be, at those
times, that the nursing wing at St Ives House offers the best and most appropriate care.
One of life’s great pleasures is meeting and socialising with like-minded people. Communal facilities within St Ives Place, such as the welcoming residents’ lounge and conservatory, along with The Bistro in St Ives House, are for use by all residents living independently in the apartments and cottages. There’s also a luxuriously comfortable self-contained guest suite which can be booked for visitors. St Ives House offers a range of activities and events, which all residents can take part in if they wish. St Ives House Country House Care has its own minibus so there are regular trips to local towns and places of interest, as well as a regular shuttle service into Ringwood. At home, the lovely landscaped gardens and woodland walks are there for all residents to enjoy, and to ensure you can stay on the go, there’s also a buggy-charging area!

VISITING
St Ives Place is ideally situated on Horton Road, Ashley Heath, just a few minutes drive from the market town of Ringwood.
Horton Road is easily located as it enjoys direct access to the Ashley Heath roundabout which forms the junction with the A31 and A338 thereby offering easy access to the wider area.
How to find us:
From Bournemouth, leave upon the A338 in a northerly direction towards Ringwood and continue until reaching the Ashley Heath roundabout. At this point, proceed straight on taking the second exit into Horton Road. St Ives Place will then be found on the left hand side.
From Salisbury, take the A338 in a southerly direction to Ringwood and when
reaching the junction with the A31 take the third exit at the roundabout. On joining the A31, keep in the left hand lane and as the highway widens into 4 lanes continue in lane 2 until reaching the Ashley Heath roundabout. At this point, take the third exit into Horton Road.
From Southampton and the East, proceed upon the M27 and then the A31 until reaching Ringwood and the junction with the A338 (follow directions as above).
From Wimborne and the West, follow the A31 until reaching the Ashley Heath roundabout (sign post Bournemouth Airport) and at the top of the slip road turn left into Horton Road.
