Global Grants Process1. Contact Global Grants Chair, Todd Bollig

2. Connect with assigned Grant Mentor

3. Follow timelines and due dates

4. Identify Host Rotary Club

5. Conduct Needs Assessment with the project Community Leaders and Host Club Rotarians

Global Grants Process

6. Look for Collaboration possibilities

7. Determine Sustainability

8. Start online Application Draft – DO NOT AUTHORIZE until approved by District 5950

9. DO NOT start project until TRF Approves

Global … Post TRF Approval

1. Receive TRF legal documents with an approval letter

2. Set up Separate Bank Account

3. Collect Club Contributions into Account

4. NEW: 5% Fee if cash sent to TRF

5. TRF will wire World Fund match and DDF

6. Implement project; retain all receipts

7. File interim or final reports with TRF

2014-15 Global Grants•10 Projects involving 21 different Clubs

• $188,190 Club Funds; $638,175 Total

• Leveraging 3.4 times

• About $17,000 in Global Funds remain plus $88,000 Carryover = $105,000

• Maximum $10,000 DDF per project

District Grant Qualifiers

$500 minimum contribution per participating club

• $2,000 outright grant PLUS

• $1,000 maximum 1:1 match, single club project OR

• $5,000 maximum 1:1 match, if (5) or more clubs collaborate

• Single club project, maximum district funds $3,000

• Multiple club project, maximum district funds $7,000.
