Routines and Procedures for Sra. Baker’s class

Each day…Todos los días…

1.LA TAREA: Write down the homework assignment in your agenda. No late homework will be accepted (except due to absence)

La tarea sheets:You will need to keep your

tarea sheet until all 10 stamps have been completed. If you loose your sheet we can go back and set a new one but you must show your stamped assignments in order to get my initials.

Also…7 billetes- homework pass

Each day…Todos los días…2. ¿Sabes tú?: Write your warm-up.REMEMBER:•You must include the date and the questions, basically what I write on the board.•We will check them in class… So please, make corrections.•Once we have completed 10- you will take an assessment, but you can use your warm-ups…That is why is it VERY important to write the questions and to make corrections.•This is a class work grade.•If you are absent you must make up the ¿Sabes tú? that you missed. You can use my weblog or the classroom notebook. Check your answers with a classmate.•This is the easiest grade you can get in this class, take advantage of it.•Earn BILLETES when you participate in answering the warm-up questions.

Earn billetes…PARTICIPATIONBilletes:

3 billetes – Para salir al baño o a la oficina Billetes are not needed in case of emergencies

7 billetes – Para no hacer una tarea (homework pass)

10 billetes – Para quitar una nota mala en una actividad de clase (drop lowest classwork grade – NOTE: this does not include warm-up assessments)

15 billetes – Para quitar una nota mala en una prueba(drop lowest quiz grade- NOTE: this does not include test grades)

? billetes – Dulce (candy)

Bring all materials to class.

Please do not get up fromyour desk without the teacher’s permission.

If your pencil breaks during class,raise your hand and ask in Spanish (once we learn it) if you can sharpen your pencil (use the visuals in class)

¡Atención y Silencio!• We have big classes. So, it is imperative

that you follow the rules and use your common sense.

• Be respectful• Be on time• Be prepared (complete assignmnets,

study, have your utensils, etc…)• Participate in class and pay attention• Control yourself

Make up work should include name, date, class and should be placed in the make-up box on my

desk.
