Potential Challenges

1. Resistance to change -- Don’t recreate the legacy system in your software. Think “outside the box”.

2. Patience -- How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!

3. Communication -- Vital to buy in!

4. Speed -- Focus, good analytical and decision-making skills will help meet the pace.

5. Time commitment and consistent resource availability -- You get out only as much as you put into it.

Master Project Schedule Management

Master Project Schedule Management

• “SmartSheet” web-based tool is used by RKL

– Supports task tracking by responsible person and date in Gantt chart format

– Supports file sharing in secure hosted web environment

• Weekly action item status updates, as provided by core team members to ‘Customer’ and RKL project managers, will be used to update the master project schedule

• Master project schedule status will be reviewed with the Steering Committee on a monthly basis, at a minimum, unless a significant schedule change is identified or expected.
