We plan financially to go on vacation, we plan financially for the education of our children, we make financial plans for our retirement; do we plan financially to support God’s work in our parish community? In gratitude for the gifts we receive from God, 33% of our registered families and those visiting made a joyful return to the Lord to assist in the support of God’s work in our parish community. Let’s increase this participation to 100%.

Come join us at the St. Matthew Ministry Fair, the weekend of May
20 & 21 after Mass, on the church grounds. Get to meet the ministry
leaders and gather information about the many ministries available in
service to the Lord. Our parishioners are very generous in
supporting the ministries. So come, learn how you may contribute
your time and talent in support of the parish missions. Snacks,
entertainment for the youngsters, a prize drawing for visiting a
ministry booth are all part of the exciting occasion. Please mark
your calendar.

Catholics from across the archdiocese and the country
to celebrate the visible, living presence of Jesus in the
Eucharist. The theme for this year’s Congress comes
from the Book of Joshua 24:15, “As for me and my
house we will serve the Lord.” Come join us at the
Georgia International Convention Center on June 16th

The Title of the painting comes from the
Gospel according to Mark (MK 16: 15
NAB)
“Go into the whole world and proclaim
the gospel to every creature.”
The painting depicts Jorge’s visual
impression of what took place 40 days after
the Resurrection, from the time of Jesus’
Ascension to Pentecost and beyond. When
looking at the painting, we all see different
meanings, different images. What do you
see? How does it speak to you?
