Joseph was a man of great faith who was obedient to whatever God asked of him.

“We chose Saint Agatha because she is the patron of bellmakers. We think if we name the bell after her then she will bring peace to our Church. In her biography it says she dedicated her life to God, so we know she will help us follow Him. No matter what happened to her, Saint Agatha continued to pray. This relates to Saint Philip Parish because we believe all the members of the parish and school dedicate their lives to God as Saint Agatha did.”

Saint Robert

Why Saint Robert?Saint Robert was one of the great doctors of the Church. He was raised in a family that believed in almsgiving, prayer and meditation. Saint Robert shared his faith with everyone and anyone. He is the patron saint of religion teachers. We began this project with our teacher Mrs. Twehues, who along with Father Bob gave us this opportunity. Father helps teach us about our faith as Saint Robert did. We chose Saint Robert in honor of Father Bob and all the catechists of Saint Philip.
