Public funding for OER
• £3.0m from Hefce for SCORE as part of Shared Solutions at the OU (full initiative worth £7.8m).
• HEA/JISC’ £5.6m UKOER Phase 1 programme completed with £4.0m Phase 2 now in progress.
• The Online Learning Task Force report included recommendation 6: £25m over 5 years ‘Investment is needed for the development and exploitation of OER to enhance efficiency and quality' and suggested that this should be the responsibility of the JISC, HEA and the OU.

How to do that?
SCORE targets support through:• ~36 long fellowship projects• ~3600 hours of OER reflecting sector needs• ~18 engagement/dissemination events including
short fellowship study weeks• An enquiry-based support and advice service
• Encouraging a ‘vibrant’ web 2.0-based virtual community
• Fostering OER engagement internationally

New look LabSpace
LabSpace: Familiar space with new face and features
LabSpace
The resources available via LabSpace can be placed and used there by individuals (IndieSpace), projects (ProjectSpace), or institutions (SectorSpace).
LabSpace tools encourage engagement, remixing and the evolution of new versions, including translations. Advice and help with putting content onto LabSpace for all UK OER projects.
