Cordant Engineering has a significant Apprenticeship levy fund, so we want to partner with you to find suitable talent to join your organisation as an apprentice and fund their qualification.
We’ll work with you to attract the best talent, guide them through the recruitment process, and successfully place them as your apprentice (please note; though all training costs will be covered by Cordant Engineering, their wage costs will be paid by your organisation).

Taste Original wanted to utilise our Apprenticeship levy for Food Manufacturing employees to address skills shortages within their engineering department. Working with Taste Original we have sourced and agreed Apprenticeship training for multiple candidates verified via their engineering department to undertake a 3 year programme of study to achieve Level 3 Engineering Technician Qualification.

Cordant Engineering is partnering with the Women’s Engineering Society and the WISE Campaign to tackle gender diversity in engineering recruitment.
As it stands, only 13% of the engineering workforce is female, while skills shortages threaten every sector. Cordant Engineering is working to address this issue through our three-part strategy.

CANDIDATESThe engineering industry faces the “leaky pipeline” problem, which means that even women who have engineering qualifications may not work in the industry. Cordant Engineering is developing resources to support candidates at all stages in their journey, including returners and career changers, to remain in the industry that inspired them.
EDUCATIONThe best way to encourage girls to pursue careers in engineering is to show them it can be done. Cordant Engineering is partnering with schools and colleges to provide engineering female role models alongside employability skills, to help give all aspiring engineers the tools they need to succeed.
