How to configure PC Controlled Camera Control

This presentation is intended to guide the installer step by step through the camera control installation.

PC controlled DCN system with Camera Control

• Direct Camera Control

• With Allegiant Video Switcher

Direct Camera Control (PC Controlled)

Requirements :

• One Dome Camera

• CCU with TCB4

• One monitor

• DCN software V9.30 or higher!!!

• DCN Control PC = Temporary Installation PC

• Software LBB3588/00 V2.0 or higher!!!

Step 1 Connect PC and Monitor

to Dome Camera

Step 2Install virtual keyboard software

Step 3Configure Virtual Keyboard

Make sure you choose the right camera!!

Step 4Set Pre-Positions

Repeat Step 4 to set all Pre-Positions

Set the highest Pre-Position as overview

Step 5Check the Pre-Positions

If you were not successful setting up the pre-positions please don’t continue with the next steps.

First make sure that the pre-positions are set.

Step 6Connect CCU to DCN Control PC and AutoDome

Step 7CCU protocol and Serial Port settings

Make sure that the ports of the CCU are set correct.

Port 1Protocol = FullBaudrate = 115.2K

Port 2Protocol = Camera ControlBaudrate = 9.6K

Keep in mind !!

LBB3500/15 & LBB3500/35

You have to change the baudrate of Port 2 to 9.6K !!

Step 8Start Camera Control Software

An installation file must be open before camera installation is possible.

Step 9Combine seat numbers with

camera pre positions

Make sure you choose the right camera!!Camera nr = Camera Address

• Allegiant switcher

• Video Switcher keyboard

• Fixed and/or AutoDome cameras

• Monitor(s)

• DCN software V8.00 or higher

• DCN Control PC with two Comports

• Software LBB3588 V1.0 or higher

LBB3500/15 & LBB3500/35

Step 4Start Camera Control Software
