Coordinating Conjunctions

• The FANBOYS!!• For• And• Nor• But• Or• Yet• So

• When writing a sentence using a coordinating conjunction (one of the FANBOYS), use a comma before the coordinating conjunction.

•Write a compound sentence using a semi-colon and a conjunctive adverb.

• Conjunctive adverbs MUST have a semi-colon before and a comma after.
