Your CV

“There is no right or wrong way to write a CV

but there are some common sections you should cover…”

Your CV

“Your CV is not about you – its about the ‘buyer’….”

• A recruiter only spends a few seconds looking at a CV.

• Important sections:

Cover letters – why?

• It shows you have something to say, that you know about the job and are interested in

working for the company.

• Every cover letter you write should be tailored to the job you’re applying for — just like

your CV.

Cover letters – why?

• Fewer applicants are submitting cover letters – less of a requirement.
