ACIAR contracted CRC to implement a 2 year, $1.4m – Aus/Africa Plant Biosecurity Partnership Program (with CABI, Crawford Fund)
Activities include: placement of fellows in Aus biosec agencies; workshops on specific plant biosec themes in
Africa; trade negotiation skills; pest/disease action planning Impacts include: building of strong relationships
b/w fellows; upskilling on specific plant anddisease controls (e.g. FF and Panama); long-term partnering with FAO & COMESA
