Chapter 1 What is a shark?A shark is a fish. They have fins, gills, and a snout. They can’t swim backwards.

Chapter 2 All kinds of SharksThere are more than 400 different types of sharks. The hammerhead sharks are good hunters. The great white shark is one of the biggest and most aggressive sharks.

Chapter 3 Super SensesSharks have good hearing, eyesight, and sense of smell. They have tiny holes on there snouts. These allow for the sharks to have sense signals coming from other fish.

Chapter 4 AttackSharks can attack people and other ocean animals.

Chapter 5 Sharks in DangerThousands of sharks are killed each year. They get tangled in fishing nets. They are killed for their fins. Oil leaks can poison sharks.
