WelcomeWell with issue one being way more

popular then we expected of we decide to quickly get to work on number two for

you sh!t heads.

We are hoping with this issue we smooth out all the crap we stuffed up in the last issue and give you even more content

then before, but still keep it as raw and in-teresting as issue one.

And hopefully you guys have grown a beard since issue one, or at least tried to.

Morgan Winston?Who is morgan winston you ask. Well you may recognise his mug from the cover of issue one.

But if you haven’t heard of his name then you wouldn’t know of his talent to navitgate his plank of wood ,metal and urtherane around

pretty much anything he desires in a gnarly and stylish way.

Aside from that he also part time dj’s and works full time as a sheet metal fabricator.

We have no real idea how he manages to do all these things and maintain to push the gnar on his board. So we thought we would fire some questions towards him to see if we can find out more

about him.

Morgan Winston?

So, Morgan, tell us a little bit about yourself. Morgan Winston, I’m 20 I currently reside in a somewhat growing town called the Sunshine Coast but it seems to rain more here than sunshine haha. I’m a skater i occasionally body board provided the sunny coast has swell.

Current sponsors? My current sponsors are Boardstore skate shop, DISCO bearings and as on yesterday I became a member of Anchors Aweigh Apparel.

Street, tranny or both?Umm that’s a hard one to pick cause i love watching dudes get tech and clean on ledges and handrails in the street, but i love watching tranny, cause all the tranny dudes now are just pushing so hard which makes it more and more enjoyable every section that comes out. But i cant skate street to save my life and there for the reason why i skate tranny.

So, we hear you’re currently balancing working part time as a DJ, working full time and getting gnar skating...all at the same time! How do you manage to get in as much skating as you do?Beats me hey, I’m kind of a nerd and have a schedule as depressing as it sounds. Wake up at 5 every morn mon-fri go to work from 6-3 come home walk the pooch, chill for like 10 mins, then hop in the car get my ass to the skate park around 4, skate till I can’t move or its dark, come home cook dinner play dj for about 40mins to an hour then sleep, but weekends I hit the dj decks during the day while its too hot to skate, so i guess my boring schedule gets me skating so much.

What do you listen to pump you up, pre skate?Whatever the mood I'm in so maybe some Florence and the machine all the way intoAlexisonfire even to the lengths of Hanson hahaha.

Anything big on the cards this year for you?This year not too sure really, just edited a "sponsor me" tape with my great pal Gutty, hopefully it can hook me up with a few more sponsors so I can stop spending money on skate stuff and actually save haha. And hopefully travel to Canada at the end of the year to have a white Christmas and snowboard.

How come you don’t have a beard?Aww man I'd love a beard...but for a guy who has about 3 under arm hairs my genes have let me down in the area of a beard... but every now and then it cranks solid blonde hairs...every now and then.

Any one you want to give shout outs to?My filmer Gutty for getting me this far in where I'm at in skating probably wouldn't have pursued skating if it wasn't for him. I'd still be pushing mongo on a penny board hahahahaha. Mudzy my photographer, legend! Always down to skate and shoot some pictorials of me trying to do those fully sick maneuver's I try. All the boys I skate with great pack of dudes, Marcus Warren cause he was the original person to get me into skating, Nick Dale cause he always was keen to have a roll with me whenever i was keen. I could go on and on but yeah I better stop before I write a novel haha.

A morning with

Joey Orme

The night leading up to this morning Joey, Brodie and myself, were playing online pool and talking on Skype for a lot longer than we had planned, at about the time the clock struck 3am we figured we may as well stay up the extra hour or so and check the surf, considering we had checked the live winds at

this point and it was looking perfect.

We pulled up at the local car park at first light, as I was mak-ing the slow exit out of the car, taking my time, making no

rush of things and playing on my phone at the same time, I hear the boys scream out, ‘Oh my god!’

I looked up and out at the ocean to see none other than a set of 2 or 3 perfectly barreling slabs rolling through…

And this is what followed.

THINGS ABOUT living on

the sunshine coast

best1; Having a few brewkies with the boys!2: can’t go past a good wurtulla session.3: .The surf is way less crowded then the goldy!4: it can be a pretty mellow place!5: Uni night can be a vibe

Worst1:the lack of waves that we get!2: Night life is pretty average.3: when people from up north come and surf reef(not gonna name drop)4: There are defiantly alot of ferrals arounds which i dont like.5: And Alex lefts and the pot are the worst waves on the coast!
