description

Architecture Thesis Project by Part II Architect Simon Bumstead. The project proposes a grey water purification plant stretching out of the back of one of Las Vegas' biggest hotels, Caesars Palace, purifying the wasted water and re-selling it to the high-rollers as premium branded bottled water. By doing this the building finances the rehabilitation of the victims of Las Vegas, the gambling addicts, many of which who have become homeless are forced to live in storm drains below the city, storm drains that are often left dry due to the lack of rainfall the city receives, a fact that most people who visit Las Vegas are aware of, but choose to willingly suspend their disbelief in the pursuit of unbridled pleasure.
