Adhesive: Super Tape and glue stick
Stamp the winged girl image three times on smooth white cardstock
or stamping paper.
Pierce a hole through the center of the registration marks on the coordinating Stamp2Cut template. Place the template over the
stamped images. Use a pen to mark the registration marks on the stamped images.
Place the images on your eclips cutting mat. Load the cutting mat
into the eclips. Select your image (make sure you are Stamp2Cut
mode), enter your registration marks, and cut your images.
For this project, you will cut one of the whole stamped image, one of
the girl alone, and one with the crown and word pieces.

Apply Old Paper Distress Stain to the wings of the whole girl and
the crown piece. Dry the pieces with a heat tool.
Mist the wing area of the whole girl with Biscotti Perfect Pearls
Mist. Dab away the excess mist with a dry towel and dry with a heat
tool.
Mist the crown piece with Mint Perfect Pearls Mist. Blot away the
excess mist with a dry towel and dry with a heat tool.
Apply a drop of Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls to each round tip on the
crown piece. Set aside to dry.
Mix a small amount of Antique Linen Distress Stain with a mist (or
two) of water onto a craft sheet. Mix the two with a paint brush.
Brush the mixture onto the face and hands of the girl only piece.
Mix a small amount of Faded Jeans Distress Stain with a mist (or two) of water onto a craft sheet. Mix the two with a paint brush.
Brush the mixture onto the dress of the girl only piece. Blot away any excess moisture with a dry cloth and dry with a heat tool.

Color the necklace detail on the stamped image with a Scattered
Straw Distress Stain Marker. Color the hair of the girl with a Tea
Dye (or other color of choice) Distress Stain Marker.
Mix a small amount of Victorian Velvet Distress Stain with a mist (or two) of water onto a craft sheet. Mix the two with a paint brush. Brush the mixture onto
the cheeks of the girl only piece. To help the pink blend well, brush straight water (clean your brush first) and brush over the edges of the cheeks. Blot away any
excess moisture with a dry cloth and dry with a heat tool.
Add a dot of color to the eyes using a Faded Jeans Distress Ink
Marker.
Die cut one heart from Grungepaper using the tall heart from the
Mini Hearts Movers & Shapers set in a base tray.
Color the heart with a generous coat of Worn Lipstick Distress Stain. Let the heart sit a minute to allow the color to soak in. Blot the
excess stain with a dry cloth and heat dry. A second coat may be applied for extra color.
Mist the dried heart with Forever Red Perfect Pearls Mist. Let the
heart sit for a minute, then blot away the excess mist with a dry cloth
and heat dry.

Ink the music stamp from the Joyful Song stamp set with Jet Black
Archival Ink. Stamp two rows of the design on the dried heart.
Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Vintage Photo Distress Ink with an
ink blending tool. Optional wing cut from vellum shown. To cut the wing,
place registration marks on a plain piece of vellum (no stamping needed).
Register the marks and cut the wings on the pieces option.
Apply glue to the back of the girl only piece.Place the girl only piece on top of the piece with wings, which will
serve as base for all of the pieces.
Apply glue to the back of the crown. Place the crown on the
assembled girl, lining it up with the crown on the base layer.
Apply glue to the backs of the four word pieces. Place each word
piece on the assembled girl.

Place the Grungepaper heart into the girl’s hand. Adhere it in place
with a strip of red tape.
Apply additional strips of tape on the girls body and the back of the
heart. Place adhesive foam squares on the back of the wings as
shown.
Die cut one piece of colored cardstock using the Vintage Card Making Heart Scallop Card die. Cut the two parts of the heart apart
at the center fold. Emboss the front card piece using the Scallop Heart Doily Textured Impressions folder.
Cut additional pieces out of smooth white cardstock. To cut only the one side, place the cardstock to be cut on the die, lining the left edge
of the paper up with the score line at the center of the card shape. Include as many pages as you would like.
Score a fold line on each of the covers and pages using a scoring
board. Make the score about 3/8” from the straight tab edge.
Stack the covers and pages together. Punch two holes through the tab
end of the covers and pages. Place long fasteners through the holes.

Optional: Dress up the tabs by covering them with tissue tape. One piece of tape placed at the scored fold will wrap over the edge to the
fold line on the other side. Trim the top and bottom edges with scissors. Poke a hole through the tape for the brads.
Ink the edges and raised areas of the covers using Vintage Photo
Distress Ink and an ink blending tool.
Remove the backing on the adhesive foam squares and red tape to
adhered the assembled girl to the book cover.
Optional: Place a thin line of adhesive along the back edge of the wings. Adhere them to the girl, adhering them only along the back
edge. When the adhesive is dry, the wings can be curled and shaped upward to add dimension.
Optional: Colored Crinkle Ribbon can be wrapped around the front
cover and tied into a bow on the cover for added embellishment.
