David Anderson: Your brain is more than a bag of chemicals

Very intellectual speaker that speaks from experience.

- He illuminates new research that could lead to targeted psychiatric medications -- that work better and avoid side effects.

-- He doesn't relate personally with the audience.

Goes straight into speech and doesn’t grab you right away by telling an interesting story but does ask a personal question to the audience. I would rate his speech at 4 because I felt sleepy halfway thru.

Does well with the 3rd

Commandment

Disobeys 8th

commandment

His speech does cause you to question normal Psychiatric treatment by medication.

Used precise illustrations to show his procedures but not very interesting.

Uses visual and factual images to tell story

Relates Facts with research still leaving some very important things to ponder on about ADHD

Lacks great storytelling like Ken who excels at it, Has personal tested his results personally with great Scientific results but lacks upbeat personality. Speech was slow like a snails pace but keep you listing because he covered a great subject that was very personal to many people. Didn’t offer clear solutions too problems as well as Ken does in his speeches.

Speaker Ken Robinson

Very Humorous upbeat personality with very Humble attitude, spoke a lot about his problems as well as others in subject on Education. Had great experience on Subject as well as David in speech.

Didn’t use a lot of visual help in first speech but his second one was very visual, he could paint pictures very well with his stories alone.

Very Good use of TED commandment 8 “Thought shall remember all the while; Laughter is Good”. I rate his performance as 5 because I was compelled to hear more even when the speech was over.

Great use of Visuals in second Speech let you focus more on message than speaker.

Offers many solutions to different aspects of Education and how to reform it.
