SNAP Employment & Training
It can be difficult to find a job that
will support you and your family if
you don’t know where to start, or
need to learn new skills. If you are
a SNAP (formerly known as Food
Stamps) recipient, we can help you
gain confidence and skills to help
you find a job and become financially independent.
Employment & Training participants learn the skills necessary to
secure and maintain employment and become self-sufficient.
Services are provided in group and individual settings. Frequency
of Services provided depends on individual client's needs.
ELIGIBILITY:
Our services are available to SNAP recipients referred by the
Department of Human Services which manages the referral and
waitlist functions for the program.
LOCATIONS:
Goodwill’s Employment & Training offices are located on Oahu
(Aiea) and Maui (Kahului).

Connections to other programs within Goodwill
CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES:
Identify individual and family needs
Provide assistance in job search and maintenance
Provide referral services for jobs and training
Provide assistance and training in life skills, time management,
budgeting, etc.
Participants direct services through the individual planning pro-
cess
Other services, as needed, to facilitate growth and development
of self-reliance
