IRREGULAR PAST TENSE VERB SNOWMEN MATCH UP ACTIVITY
+ worksheets!
FREEBIE!
1
Irregular Past Tense Verbs:Irregular past tense verbs are not regular because they do not end in a “d” “t” or “ed” like regular past tense verbs. They do not end in anything in particular and that is why it is hard to remember them! This snowmen match game will help your students to memorize some of the most common irregular past tense verbs in a fun way because they will get to complete puzzles. Kids love to move while they learn!
Directions: 1) Print, laminate, and cut on the middle line to separate the snowmen. 2) Mix the upper and lower snowmen parts up and set them on the table picture
side up.3) Ask the students to find the upper body and lower body match to complete a
full snowman.
Worksheets: Students are asked to write in the correct verb to finish the sentences. Picture clues and words are provided at the bottom of each page.
