Worms eat natural things - NOT SALT or SOAP! They refuse to eat petroleum products:

We can gather leaves & grass clippings, keep the worm farms moist, and feed them our scraps.

Keep worms in DARK ditches, round bins, square boxes, dresser drawers, grass houses, straw sheds, on shelves, or even under a rabbit or bird cage!

Some schools & neighborhood parks have an area to feed worms. Everyone can help worms restore the soil.
