Session Goals1. To explain our website development

project

2. To have participants discuss how the website could be of most value to SoTL researchers

3. To summarize participant feedback that will be communicated to the project team.

Outline

• Explain the website design process and goals

• Small group discussion

• Summary discussion

The design process has four themes

Search

• For ideas, topics people have proposed• Research groups• Publications• People

Momentum: get inspired to post ideas, get feedback, create a project group

Connect

• Post and receive feedback on ideas for a project

• Build a network of potential collaborators

• Submit a request for collaboration

• Request workbench group space

Momentum: Launch a new project or find an existing project to join or follow

Collaborate

• Form research working groups• Set goals and milestones• Co-author documents and presentations• Post research reports in progress• Complete research projects

Momentum: Work to complete research and report writing

Publish

• Interim and completed reports• Disseminate results

Momentum: Make your group’s research reports available for feedback
