Spam I Am, or A Different Sort of Beginner Book:

A Viral Marketing

Story Suitable

for Bedtime

Written by Dr. O’Spam Illustrated by A. Spamality II

Alone I sat there at my deskWondering which way was bestTo teach the world of my new siteAnd you, I’m sure, do see my plight.

But then I read the best of news,Would save me time and money too!New Marketing is now the wayAnd it no doubt would save the day.

Amazed I was, it made such senseAnd it was at so little expense! No press release, no ad campaignThose days are gone,

the rules have changed!

Viral is the way to go.Just make yourself a video,Use network tools

to spread your wordUntil the whole

wide worldhas heard.

I went to work, no time to waste

I started out right on MySpace. My page I had barely completedBefore the dang thing

was deleted.

Facebook was also a bust.No matter what I did I justKept getting warned for

spam, spam,

spam!

And down my fist would slam,

slam, slam!

YouTube I won’t even mention,It was not long before suspensionLocked me out of my own page!Oh, I could not control my rage…

In spammingI do notengage!!

By bloggers I have been ignoredBy ‘friends’ my messages abhorredMy posts removed, my comments flaggedAnd through the mud my good name dragged!

I do not like spam, Jen I amThose things I sent, they were not spam!I did not spam your mail inboxI did not spam with Firefox.I did not spam you from my houseI did not spam you with my mouse.I did not spam your comment spaceI did not spam your blogging place.I did not spam you here or thereI did not spam you anywhere!

It is not spam, but I won’t fightI just want you to see my site. And oh how happy you make meWhen you go to YOBI.tv!
