• Having a sense of meaning and purpose in life

• Feeling a sense of individuality as well as a sense of connection to others and often a connection to something larger than life

• Keeping life in perspective while pursuing personal growth and development

• Integrating personal values and morals into everyday activites — job, family, recreation, community and activities

• Finding comfort, joy, beauty, support, peace, balance, creativity

• Being compassionate towards others

• Accepting the unknown, mystery, the unanswerable

• Inability to see your own responsibility within a difficult life situation (lack of empowerment)

• Using blame and judgment in relationships with others

• Feeling overwhelmed, lack of direction, tired of life, nothing really matters

• Feeling a need to be dishonest within yourself and with others

• Addictions

• Unable to calm your mind

Spiritual Depletion Is

• Consistent, ongoing feelings of sadness, fearfulness or anger

• Disregarding your own needs and always giving in to others

• Extreme need to be helpful, nice, listening, agreeing, understanding, accepting and forgiving with others

• Feeling lonely and isolated

• Low energy level

Ways of Developing Spiritual Wellness

• Acknowledging your own gifts and talents, your own uniqueness

• Valuing your self so that you contribute and connect to others through your own personal expression, rather than denying your own needs and simply serving others

• Prioritizing your life activities so that your health, energy level, creativity and feelings of joy are supported

• Asking for what you want and feeling worthy of receiving a life of balance, harmony and connection

Ways of Developing Spiritual Wellness

• Establishing firm boundaries, including the ability to say no to anything that is not honoring to you

• Taking the time and space you need to awaken to your dreams and passions

• Creating a support system of others around you that also value and honor you. This includes your friends, co-workers, boss, spouse or dating partner, physicians and other health care practitioners, any other professionals you may use in your life

• Appreciating others for their unique way of expressing their love
