WHAT IS GFG? Gluten Free Garage (GFG) is THE go-to festival in Toronto for anyone
who lives a gluten-free lifestyle, whether they have celiac disease, gluten
intolerance or other health issues that would benefit from a gluten-free
diet. GFG is carefully vetted and curated so that all the food is 100% gluten
free and 100% delicious. This celiac-friendly event—it’s like a farmers’
market with a gluten-free twist—showcases the best in gluten free and
prides itself on bringing gluten-free people together to enjoy eating,
shopping and connecting with others in the community.
Now in its 9th year, Gluten Free Garage takes place during Celiac
Awareness Month and:
• Attracts more than 2,000 people who come to sample, shop and stock up
on the best gluten-free finds and meet 75+ participating vendors
• Provides a venue for businesses (local and national) to launch, promote and
test-market their gluten-free products
• Keeps an extensive database of GFG attendees and subscribers in the know
about upcoming events via newsletter campaigns
• Employs an active social media campaign

OUR STORYTen years ago, when our daughter Lily was diagnosed with
celiac disease at age 3, we turned our house into a gluten-
free oasis. We wanted it to be a safe place for her to eat.
A place where we wouldn’t have to say “you can’t have
that.” At the same time, we didn’t want to have to settle
for food that didn’t taste good. So for the past decade I’ve
been on a quest for the yummiest gluten-free food. Along
the way I’ve discovered countless gluten-free gems!
I have also discovered that it takes a village to raise a
gluten-free child. Gluten Free Garage brings our village
together to share in the best gluten-free finds out there.
It’s a one-stop shopping day that allows our community
to come together—over food, of course! The look on
someone’s face as they devour a dumpling or donut or
beer for the first time since going gluten free is priceless.

Wychwood Barns is a converted heritage building that is located in the heart of Toronto
and is TTC accessible. This 7,600-square-foot space is home to The Stop Community
Centre’s farmers’ market on Saturday mornings and hosts many of Toronto’s popular
food events.
