Follow the journey of food into your mouth, through the acid bath in your stomach, along metre after metre of

pulsating guts, and then out the other end! Featuring video footage of people’s insides, this is a gross, squirm-inducing

show all about the amazing human digestive system.

If we have two eyes, they why is our vision so limited? Why don’t they allow us to look behind and in front at the same

time, or sideways in both directions? Join artists Anne Cleary and Denis Connolly for a unique interactive session. You’ll sense how animals view and perceive the world, from

the perspective of giraffes, horses, even hammerhead sharks!

A MaGical Italian Bubble Concerto by Bollesapone

3pm, €10 Family of four €30

An eccentric conductor takes you into the slippery world of soap bubbles to perform a concert for you, where the unexpected is always

waiting in ambush. From odd instruments giant bubbles appear, bouncing bubbles, portable bubbles, bunches of bubbles, and some

people might be invited to enter into a giant bubble.

What Lies Beneath

Celebrate the opening of “What Lies Beneath”, a fun exhibition

of Anatomy with a Twist, with an Injection of Life, by Dr. Maeve

Doyle, and Animithe, a colourful watercolour exhibition of ancient Irish animals by Ronan O’Reilly.

DabbledooMusic creator Shane Mc Kenna and a host of colourful musical characters like ‘Jazz Cat’ and ‘Igor’ (The World’s Greatest

DabbledooMusic is a multimedia musical experience for everyone.

It combines audio and visual elements to create a unique and accessible introduction to group

music making on a range of exciting instruments.

HandPrint Animal Zoo!

3-5 years, Tickets €11

Create an animal zoo using your child’s handprints for different parts

of the animal. This fun interactive class, led by Mariana Shostak, will

get your wee ones creating and offer a wonderful keepsake to remember

just how small their hands are!

Join Eoin Gill of CALMAST Waterford IT’s award winning

science outreach team for a cool, electrifying and explosive exploration of science! This fun,

interactive show is recommended for children aged 8+.

The Science of Colour

Join Dr. Sheila Donegan of CALMAST Waterford IT’s award

winning Science Outreach Centre for an interactive journey through

the science of colour.

Amy Moran from Cupcake Couture leads this tasty workshop with a sciency twist where she will

demo all the tips and tricks for decorating cupcakes. Don’t forget

to bring a tub… yum yum!

Get crafty with Laura McNamara from Firefly Parties. Design your

own Kookie creature, sculpt it and it will live in its own little home.

Explore the science of genetics, extract your own DNA and learn about the structure of DNA by

making a take-home model. Led by Brendan Kennedy of

CALMAST Waterford IT’s award winning Science Outreach Centre.
