“Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a server-based report generation software system from Microsoft”

- It can be used to prepare and deliver a variety of interactive and printed reports”

- It is administered via a web interface.

- Reporting services features a web services interface to support the development of custom reporting applications.

- SSRS competes with other business intelligence tools, and is included in ALL versions of Microsoft SQL Server

- You can use subreports (very nice feature) ...in NAV you can’t use.- You can use multi-source datasets: in NAV you can use only one dataset (with multi data-items), in SSRS more datasets and more connections.- You can use more SSRS reports instead of RDLC NAV Reports (SSRS reports are free) !- You can schedule\delivery reports from SSRS (in NAV you need NAS Scheduling)- You have “subscriptions” to folders and report (like Sharepoint)

NB:- You can’t use flowfields in SSRS (with Oledb connection)…
