HILARY TERM FEES 2017 Please be reminded Hilary Term fees are due on or before December 1, 2017. School fees are paid directly to First Carib-bean Bank by cash or certified checks, using the fee slip issued by the school. The amount is specified and must be paid in FULL. The bank will retain a copy and the payer MUST return one (1) stamped copy (pink) to the School. Persons using the Payment Plan are reminded that there is a cost of $75 for using this service, and that a monthly payment is due the first of each month and failure to make the monthly payment will result in suspension from classes. NB. Once fee slips are issued a re-placement fee slip will cost $5.00. Students with outstanding accounts may not be allowed to write examinations.

Visit the Guidance department and discuss your future plans.
Complete applications for local and foreign colleges, these usually include:
The application form
A personal essay (Have it proofread by your English Language teacher)
Recent photograph(s)
Copies of Certificates (birth & academic, where applicable)
School recommendation by the Guidance Counselor (Request on/before December 15, 2017)
Other recommendations by teachers or others (Request early)
Official transcript(s) —Allow 3-5 Business Days to be completed by Counselors
College financial aid application, and
Application fee.

Complete and return your part of all possible applications. This takes time! Work from the checklist of requirements and
keep a record of exactly what was done and when. If some part of an application must be delayed, with good
reason, return everything else to the Guidance Department and explain the delay.
Complete and return family financial statement to college or appropriate agency.
Check with your counselor to make sure everything is correctly filled in.

In accordance with ACEA policy (mandatory application to U.B. for members of Grade 12 we have distributed the
College of the Bahamas application forms to the Class 2018.
Completed U.B. application forms due to Guidance Office: Friday January 5, 2018.
Forms from other local Colleges (e.g. Bahamas Baptist College, BTVI) are also available.
Christmas is a good time to get more opinions and information from college students who are home on vacation.

DRESS CODE:
School Uniform OR P.E. Uniform (which includes SAS track suits) OR House Shirts with
PE shorts /long sweat pants / long jeans
No jewelry or other clothing allowed. Sports days are compulsory school days.
ALL SCHOOL RULES WILL BE ENFORCED.
While ALL Parents and guardians are invited to attend, a special request is being made for the parents and guardians of
Grades 1- 3 to accompany their children. There is an Entrance fee of $1.00 for Parents and Guardians. Meet programs will
be issued while supplies last
APPLICATION/ADMISSION PROCEDURE Applications are now being accepted for the 2018-2019 school year. Parents and guardians are urged to:
1. Submit completed Application Form and nonrefundable $50.00 fee along with i. Copy of Birth Certificate (or 1st 4 pages of Passport) i. Passport photograph iii. Transcript from current School (4-10) 2. Write the Admission Test on the following dates: Grade 7: Sat. February 3, 2018 @ 8:30am
Kindergarten, Grades 1-5 & 8: Feb. 26, 2018 @ 9:00 am REMINDERS: Dress Code: Full School Uniform Materials Needed: Pens, pencils, ruler Results may be collected ONE week later from the Office.
