Good mesh leads good results. The mesh module fulfillalmost all the requirements in forming process, includingsheet metal forming, thick metal forming, forging, heattreatments, casting and welding, as well as the otherst ructure analysis systems. Three mesh methods areembedded in Stamp-Engineer, which are 1D, 2D and 3Dmesh. generators. With the initial CAD geometry, the meshgenerator builds continuous surface topology by justinputting several easy-to-know parameters in simple graphicuser interface.
The special designed Tool-Mesher couldrepresent the tool surface intelligentlywhile the fine mesh in high curvaturezones and coarse mesh in flat zones.Compare to the Tool-Mesher, Blank-Mesher is used to generate uniform meshesof blanksheet to optimize the time step.
