ReferenceRead these Project Specific Requirements (PSRs) in conjunction with the Standard Specification for Roadworks 2017 (SSRW) and the Drawings if any. Only those parts of the Standard Specification which refer to the works being carried out apply.
Standard Specification for Roadworks – Reference TextThe technical specification for this project is the Standard Specification for Roadworks 2017 which is a separate printed document of reference text.
Site CopyRetain a current copy of the Standard Specification for Roadworks on site for the duration of the Contract. Retain a copy of these Project Specific Requirements on site for the duration of contract.

Project Specific RequirementsThe selection of specific items or materials for the works being carried out are as specified in these Project Specific Requirements or shown as notes on the drawings.
Clause NumberingThe clause numbers in the Project Specific Requirements remain consistent and refer back to the relevant clause and section in the Standard Specification for Roadworks 2017.
PrecedenceAny provision in these Project Specific Requirements or on the project drawings shall override any conflicting provision in the Standard Specification.

SSRW Clause 1.2 DEFINITIONS
ADDENDUM
Add the following definitions:
APPROVED
Means approved by the Superintendent except where applicable statutory requirements state otherwise or if a different approver is specified.
AS BUILT INFORMATION
Means the same as “As Constructed Information”.
AS CONSTRUCTED INFORMATION
A documented record, including drawings, of the details of a construction following its completion. Includes, and means the same as, "works as executed" information, "as installed" information and "as built" information
AS INSTALLED INFORMATION
Means the same as “As Constructed Information”.
AUTHORISED
Means authorised by the Superintendent except where applicable statutory requirements state otherwise or if a different authoriser is specified.
BUSINESS DAY(S)
Means the same as Day.
DAY(S)
Means working days, Monday to Friday, excluding Northern Territory wide Public Holidays, and excluding weekends.
DIPL (THE DEPARTMENT)
Means the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics.
PROVIDE
“Provide” and similar expressions mean supply, install, connect, test, commission, and leave ready for use. It includes development of the design beyond that documented.
WORKING DAY(S)
Means the same as Day.
WORKING HOURS
Means the hours, on a working day, from 8am to 4.30pm.
WORKS AS EXECUTED INFORMATION
Means the same as “As Constructed Information”.
SSRW Clause 1.16 PROJECT NOTICE BOARDS
Design the Project Notice Boards in accordance with drawing number(s) [enter data]

SSRW Clause 1.21 AS CONSTRUCTED INFORMATION
ADDENDUM
Add the following information as the first paragraph of the clause.
Witness Point - Provide As Constructed drawings and information. Show information of building elements, plant, and equipment across all disciplines. Show co-ordinate dimensions where applicable. Refer to the NTG Technical Drawings Part 1 - Requirements for Technical Records Management document, which is accessible via https://dipl.nt.gov.au/infrastructure/technical-standards-guidelines-and-specifications/technical-records . Drawings without changes shall be described as "As Constructed - No Changes" in the amendment description column.

SSRW Clause 1.23A CONTRACTOR’S SUBMISSIONS - HOLD POINT
Find out the extents of the road reserve for the full length of the works. Widths of road reserve vary.
Obtain all required permits, and approvals, for works, and associated activities, proposed to be carried out in areas not in the road reserve. This is in addition to all other required permits and approvals.
Hold Point - Provide copies of permits, and approvals, for works, and associated activities, proposed to be carried out in areas not in the road reserve before commencing any proposed works, and activities.

“The Panel Period Contractor will provide NATA endorsed test results to the Contractor within the following scheduled times (in working days - Monday to Friday) from the time of ordering the tests.
For work in remote areas increase the testing and reporting completion times by a minimum of 2 days.”
2. Replace Table 5.10 - Testing and Reporting Completion Times - Part 1 of 2 and Table 5.11 - Testing and Reporting Completion Times - Part 2 of 2 with the following tables.
