WELCOME TO MY IEP MEETING.⦿My name is Kayla.

ALL ABOUT ME!!!:⦿ I am ten years old and I have a brother

named Kevin.⦿My dog does not listen. His name is

Coco.⦿ I have a Big Sister named Robin. We go

to Yumz for icecream and we do homework together. ☺

MY STRENGTHS:• I rock at math. Dividing with

remainders is easy for me.• I’m very good and finishing my

homework everyday!• I like to participate in math by raising

my hand.• Making friends is easy for me.• I’m good at dancing because I know all

the moves!

MY STRUGGLES:⦿Reading is hard for me because I

sometimes do not know the words.⦿Playing some sports in gym is hard

because I have a hard time playing some sports like basketball and baseball.

⦿ I struggle with focusing the most while I read.

Objective: To allow the students the opportunity to create a brochure that highlights their goals, strengths, weaknesses, and future plans. This brochure will be presented at the IEP meeting.

spelling and independent reading on a daily basis through small stations.

• I am progress monitored bi-monthly in written expression, fluency and comprehension. I am monitored at the 8th grade level for all three areas. I am making steady growth in all 3 areas but am doing exceptionally well in reading fluency. I need to work on accuracy because my number of errors is inconsistent.

• I am very creative and imaginative in my written work.• On the Read 180 software, I average 81% in comprehension and

86% in vocabulary. • I need to work on drawing conclusions from text.

• I am monitored in math computation at the 8th grade level. I began this level in February after scoring in the average range on the 7th grade probes consistently
