AUXILIARY NEWS
PRESIDENT DEBBIE ATKINS
Hello Auxiliary Sisters,
Is that time of year… strange weather, cold season, cabin fever, and looking
forward to spring? Yes these things are all correct… but not what I am thinking
about….. ELECTION OF OFFICERS for our Unit. Jennifer Johnsen and Amy
McEathron have volunteered to be our nominating committee this year, so let’s all be
open minded and volunteer to help our Auxiliary flourish in 2016-2017 by becoming
an officer and or a committee member. So many wonderful projects that are available.
We can’t do it without everyone’s help. Ask questions so you know what the responsi-
bilities are for each office and committee. There is something for everyone.
ALA (American Legion Auxiliary) College will be held this year the first
weekend of June. Let me know if you would like to attend, so we can set our goal to
pay for each person to attend. There are many scholarships out there.
Our next meeting is on March 2nd at 6pm sharp. I can’t express how important
it is to have the membership there. Speaking of membership…..HAVE YOU PAID
YOUR 2016 DUES YET?
Contact Jennifer or Amy about nominations. Jennifer 315-608-1832 …. Amy
