NEW DELHI, Sept 16:Tech giant Google will

launch its payment app 'TEZ' onMonday as it seeks to cash in onthe growing digital paymentsegment in the country.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitleywill launch this payment app onSeptember 18 in Delhi, accordingto an official communication sentby the Finance Ministry.

In July, the National Payments

Corporation of India (NPCI) hadsaid Google had completed thetesting of its UPI payment serviceand was awaiting Reserve Bankof India's approval to launch itsservice in the country.(PTI)
