Superintendent qualifications Company: • By legislation/Law No requirements/criteria • B2B Accreditations of commodity institutes such as

GAFTA, FOSFA (Superintending schemes), PORAM, NOFOTA and others

• Standards Minimum level ISO 9001:2008

Surveyor level: • Education and training by Shipping and Transport College, Nautical

Institutes plus specialists such as agronomists, civil engineers and veterinarians

• HACCP (Hazard Analyses Critical Control Points) According to EU legislation, each company involved in processing,transport, distribution, packaging and trading of food must warrant thesafety of their product. They are compelled to maintain a security system covering the full process. Such systems must be based on HACCP, which systematically searches for critical points that influence the end product (Hygiene Codes)
