I love the beach, and this quilt arranges diamond shapes in a unique way that reminds me of the glass shards found on the shore. The pattern uses the Diamond Rects tool to make precise diamond shapes, and I love the squares on point for the great effect in the border.

Fabric Requirements: Multicolored Focus: 1 5/8 yards Light Background: 1 yard Dark Background: 1 3/8 yards Coordinating Medium Scraps: 1 1/4 yards mixed scraps Backing: 4 yards

* We will cut the Diamonds and the Side Triangles in class

• Invisi-Grip recommended for back of tools

• 6 x 24 Ruler• Cutting Mat & Rotary Cutter

(with new blade)• Fabric pre-cut for class -

see cutting instructions• Sewing machine in good

working order• 1/4” foot• Thread and bobbins• Sizing or Best Press

(optional but recommended• General sewing kit -

scissors, pins, seam ripper, machine needles, etc.
