A study suggests the protein in cows milk could trigger the onset of diabetes.

People with high family risk factors should avoid cow’s milk products because of the cholesterol.

Some people could be lactose intolerant.

Some people could be allergic to the protein in the cows milk

The best breed of chickens are the Dorklings, but the are

endangered breed of chickens.

The Dorkling chickens have white eggs but they produce

medium sized eggs

We will have 20 chickens, 15 of those chickens will be

female and 5 will be male

The Ross chicken is the best type of chicken to breed because its one of the

chicken sold in New Zealand supermarkets

The best living environment is a farm, but you can breed chickens in your back yard

The chickens could die if not looked after properly.

THE FAMILIESThe cows and chickens will stay on

Stephanie’s farm and at the end of the breeding and milking season.

The milk and meat will be shared between the families, as soon as the hens have laid the eggs they will be checked to see if there is a chick inside of it(we will know if there is a chick inside the egg if the egg feels warm, and if the egg is cold there is no chick), if there is no chick inside the eggs will be given to the families and used as eggs.

The milk can be used to make other dairy products.
