Hint: When you think “van,” do you think

cool, and/ or hot? (No, you shouldn’t.)

As you watch the following

video, think about why are

these guys #Swaggerskills

Masters.

Having a safe car is more

important than looking

“cool” and “hot” while

driving. These parents

have two young children,

and new priorities.

Instead of looking cool,

they want to be safe.

These parents find a way

to turn safe into cool!

Soooo why are

these guys

?!

Sooo, what’s the

punch line?

Regardless of your age, subject, interests,

or school, you will always have assessments.

Take your time now to master understanding

assessment strategies. Gradually, these steps

will become a quick habit for you. From here on

out, let the scores you earn reflect your actual

ability. Thus, if you must learn these skills (you

must), you might as well have a little fun. So,

be cheesy, laugh, have fun, stay positive, and

learn to love working hard.

Use the acronym

SWAGGER to remember

the skills and resources to become

a #Swaggerskills Master. The

following slides break down each

letter.

Now that you understand

the skills, it’s time to earn

your #Swaggerskills Master status.

Earn a dog tag for each letter of the

acronym by demonstrating mastery of

that specific skill.

1. You will get a blank

swagger board. Everyone

needs to tape it to the

same safe place.

You earn

this. You tape this

on your

swagger

board.

2. Continue until your

entire swagger board

is full.

4. The final step to

becoming a

#Swaggerskills Master is

to demonstrate your

ability to walk and/or

dance with swagger.

After you’ve earned all your dog tags,

you’ve shown you’ve mastered the

certificate! Now all you need to do is

practice your swagger dance skills and

help your classmates be ready for their

certificate, too!
