• promote the sustainability of the Sylvan Lake Watershed and aquatic ecosystem. • increase awareness of all stakeholders of the importance of maintaining a healthy

lake and aquatic ecosystem. • support the development of a Sylvan Lake Watershed Protection Plan. • encourage and develop stewardship partnerships. • provide opportunities for the active participation on a community basis in the

management of the Sylvan Lake Watershed. • gain support of and encourage shared responsibility by and cooperation of citizens,

communities, industries, businesses and government for the sustainability and management of the Sylvan Lake Watershed.

• support on-the-ground and regionally based solutions to ensure the protection of the Sylvan Lake Watershed .

• identify issues, gather information and develop and implement action plans. • support required science based studies of the lake and its watershed.
