Taizé Prayer
Singing is one of the most important forms of prayer. A few words sung over and over again
reinforce the meditative quality of the prayer. They express a basic reality of faith
that can quickly be grasped by the intellect, and that gradually penetrates the heart and the whole being

Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:1-4
Silence When we try to express communion with God in words,
our minds quickly come up short.
But in the depths of our being, through the Holy Spirit,
Christ is praying more than we imagine.
Though God never stops trying to communicate with us,
God never wants to impose anything.
Often God’s voice is heard in a whisper, in a breath of silence.
Remaining in silence in God’s presence,
open to the Holy Spirit is already prayer.
