Must be ACCURATE at all times. Must be confirmed ('saved') at least once every 30 days.

If you are going to be changing locations, we need at least 30 days notice.Notify us ahead of time if you cannot take on more students.

Reach out to students immediately if there is a conflict.

Availability Calendar – your ongoing availability

Your cue to update:

Use the time-off tool to schedule gigs, appointments, vacations, etc that conflict with your regular availability! Just like availability, it must be accurate and up to date.

Verbal/written 30 days notice required for vacations 3 weeks or longer.

If your time off conflicts with a scheduled student please reach out to him/her IMMEDIATELY to reschedule, new students included.

Time–off is a sign of great communication!

Media, media, media!Students need VISUAL media to CONNECT with you.● Your Profile Picture: YOU, up close and smiling!● Multiple Pictures: You can upload up to 8

● Performing, teaching, family, other hobbies...● Video/Audio Clips: These are IMPORTANT!

● Personal introduction, performance, teaching...● A video can double your chances of getting a student.

Writing: About Me, Specialties, Lesson DetailsYour introduction to your personality, passion and style.● Not too short, not too long: 3-4 paragraphs.● First person narrative: “I” statements sound approachable and relateable.● Show your ENTHUSIASM for music and teaching.

● Help students to love you by showing them who you are.● Beware of technical jargon – are beginners!

● Let students of all ages know that they can master the instrument.

We're Placing a New TakeLessons Student With you!

Contacting Your Student - Contact your student and mark the link in the system within 48 hours of receiving the email notification.

Notification – When a new student is booked you will receive an email containing:

● Student's name and contact information.● Lesson start date and time.● Questionnaire outlining the student's interests, goals, and experience level.

Introduction – Give your new student a call!

● 70% of the initial impression is influenced by your tone of voice!● Utilize the student's questionnaire – ask specific questions!● Build rapport and be enthusiastic – give the student something to look forward to.

Lessons to be Scheduled Any unscheduled lessons or “Flex” lessons show up here. Lessons MUST be scheduled in order to be marked/paid out.

IMPORTANT!!Do NOT teach lessons that have not been scheduled in advance. We cannot pay you for taught lessons unless we have already collected payment from the student.

Marking Lessons, Getting Paid

Reschedule

Mark or reschedule lessons within 72 hours of the scheduled completion time.After 72 hours unmarked lessons are subject to forfeit.

Complete!● After marking a lesson as complete, the journal page will automatically pop up.● Use the lesson journal to track progress and to motivate and encourage your student!● Journals keep both parents and students informed.

Missed● Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice can be marked as 'missed.' ● Marking a lesson as missed sends a notification to the student stating that the lesson will not be made up.● You will be paid the same amount for a missed lesson as a taught lesson.

REMEMBER...

One of our Core Values is “Ownership Mentality.” If you

would rather reschedule a lesson than mark it as missed, do it!

Reschedule● Student – requested reschedules must be made up within the month originally scheduled.● Lessons that are not scheduled before the month is over will expire.● Lessons cannot be credited towards the next month's lessons except in extreme emergency

Anytime you click the clock symbol it will lead you to the screen on the right. Here you can reschedule/unschedule an individual lesson, or change the reserved time for all future lessons.

How to stay on TOP!

Contact students: within 48 hours of receiving the notification.Mark your lessons: within 72 hours of the lesson ending.

Update your availability: at least every 30 days.
