Saga Yellow Sea Workshop 2013

Karatsu, the historical city that locate on

saga prefecture on the island of kyushu.

This is the one important city that must

begin the preservation city and make

people to know about this city. “Link

gate” is the main concept that we use to

design and solving the problem. Link to

the history, like to the nature and it’s also

link between people to people

(difference age). On the site survey,

around the karatsu. The age population

that we can see is the elder people. By

the population information of Karatsu it

show the middle-aged person leave

from the Karatsu to working on another

city such as Fukuoka. So the percent-

age of the residential is have only 70

percent and 60 percent is the elder

people. Then on this research we have

in the site, preservation the city and

make the more income to the city.
