Simple and Continuous Tenses
Present simple
The simple present is a tense that mentions a regular, daily or routine action (work, she goes to school) as well as a general reality (the sun is yellow, Venezuela is beautiful). There are two forms of the present simple, one with and one verb “Be, Do and Does”.
Jane dinner with her family every night
John and his dog go every afternoon in

Present continuos
Present Continuous or Present Progressive tense is used to express actions occurring at the same time they are talking.

Past simple
Simple Past tense is used to describe actions that have happened at an earlier time and have already completed.
Examples
Diana didn’t go to school yesterday
Michael lunch at an Italian restaurant last
night
Past continuos
Continuous Past tense is describing actions that were being made at a time in the past it referred to and then continued.
Examples
Louis was watching a tv program last night
Mary was drinking a beer with her Friends
the last weekend
Future simple
The simple future tense that is used to refer to actions that will happen later.
