What makes a Common Core Teacher?

Avoid the Myth -- “Any regular classroom teacher is qualified to teach online or a blended classroom,”

Teaching online requires a new and different skill set than the brick-and-mortar classroom

How many of you have taken an online class? What was your experience?

• As a result of the work of the Digital Commons group and a gathering of

county office staff around the eLearning Framework, CCSESA requested that a

new subcommittee be created. The Online Learning Collaborative

Subcommittee was developed to include equal regional representation from both CISC and TTSC. The OLCS

was tasked with updating the eLearning framework, make online learning policy

recommendations to CCSESA, and create resources to guide County

Offices of Education in the implementation of online and blended

learning.
