MODULE OBJECTIVE: 2.1 (i)By the end of this module the student will be able to:

Identify and sketch the following projections:

• Isometric Drawing

(Explain and practice oblique and isometric sketching 2.1)

Isometric Drawing In this method lines are drawn full size with axes at 30 degrees,-30degrees and 90 degrees, to represent X, Y and Z coordinates.

Draw box(Assessment task 2.1)

GRID PAPER

1. Start by drawing an arrow to represent the front corner of the box. 2. Draw a VERTICAL line at one side

3. Draw a second VERTICAL line at other side

4. Draw a parallel line to complete one side

5. Draw a parallel line to complete other side 6. Draw the back edge

7. Now complete the top surface 8. Rub out the ends of lines to finish the box

9. Remove the isometric grid paper
