ACTION
Pupils of primary school liked all competitions.
A lot of students took part in them. Unfortunately, students of junior high school were less interested in taking part in photographic competition.
We prepared and wrote the rules of all competitions.
We prepared diplomas for all the winners and bought some gifts. Most of the prices were in the shape of animals.

The winner Małgorzata Matusiak IV „B”
„Smutny
Kotek”
Choć mój kotek jest malutki,
To ma bardzo duże smutki .
Chciałby ze mną pójść do szkoły,
Biegnie za mną poprzez doły.
Zamiast z hukiem łapać myszy,
Woli w szkole siedzieć w ciszy.
Do tornistra mi się chowa,
Ledwie mu wystaje głowa.
Pewnie tęskni gdy mnie nie ma,
Myje się łapkami dwiema.
Siedzi i spogląda w oknie,
Gosia idzie? Czy nie moknie?
Jest malutki niczym puszek,
Dam mu na imię kłębuszek.
Kiedy wskoczy na kolano,
To jest moją przytulanką.
Second placeAngelika Krukowska IV „B”
Third placeNatalia Nyckowska IV „B”
„Kura”
Wyszła kura na podwórze,
Spodobało się to kurze.
Na podwórku dużo kurzu,
Piórko i sadzawka…
Kamyk, kwiatek i dżdżownica,
-jaka piękna okolica.
Drapu-drap jedną łap,
Drapu-drapu jest robaczek, to go cap!
Drap-drap łapką w kurzu,
Jak tu pięknie na podwórzu.
Distinction
Weronika Castro IV „A”
„Królik”
Królik skacze sobie żwawo
Między krzaczkami i zieloną trawą.
Uszy ma długie i czasami sterczące
Nasłuchuje co szemra na łące.
Oczka ma zielone, ogonek malutki.
Rozwesela wszystkie dzieci i wygania
smutki.

The second point of our action was a collection for thekennels in Płock. Thecollection was organized in our school.
Everybody who put some money into the special jar got a sweet and a special badge. The slogan of thebadge ‘I am a friend of animals’
We made almost 200 badges ourself. They were made of colourful paper with themarks of dog’s paw on it.
Our teachers also helped animals. Almost the whole school took part in our action.
We collected
274, 68 zlotys.
We bought some
bowls, leads and other
useful equipment for
dogs
and cats. Then, we went to
the kennels in Płock.
We travelled there by
bus on 9th March.
THE RESULTS OF FUND-RAISING
THE INTERVIEW WITH THE MANAGER OF
THE SHELTER FOR ANIMALS IN PŁOCK
We went to the kennels in Płock. We took some photos of
beautiful dogs. Most of us have never been in the kennels.
We asked some questions and we got to know a lot of
information:
There are 220 dogs and 8 cats in the shelter now.
Every month about 30 pets are adopted. Almost the same
number of dogs are found and taken to the kennels every
month, especially in summer and winter (after Christmas).
The cost of adoption is 15 zloty. Every day dogs eat about
80-100 kilos of dog food and it costs about 6,000 zloty per
month.
SOME PHOTOS FROM THE VISIT AND SHOPPING
AFTER THE VISIT
We got a letter with a special thank-you for
all our help.
The visit was unforgettable experience for
us.
After the visit we had a delicious meal in Mc
Donald’s restaurant.
